Hi guys I have this knocking/Clonking noise on my MK2 Ford focus it's driving me insane I've had people say it could be so many things.

Steering Rack Wishbone CV Trackrod 

The noise seems to come if you change from 1st to 2nd gear and floor it it will go knock knock knock also occasionally going over a pothole and say if you was to wheel spin it would come on aswell 

Any help is much appreciated Thank you

    It could be so many things.

    Wishbone bushes are common on Mk2's.  But they usually only make one knock per launch.

    Multiple knocks when pulling away could be CV joint.  Multiple knocks after a pothole is more likely to be bottom ball joint.

    Could also be a weak engine mount or snapped exhaust hangar (engine dependant).

    Doesn't sound steering related to me.

    If you can't see anything obvious, it's probably worth taking to a garage and having them check everything up on a ramp.

    Yes, but it's different on different engines.  Not the same on every Mk2.
