p00bc fault

I was coming into a slip road onto the motorway and shifted from 2nd to 3rd the car went into limp mode and on the dash it said engine service now and after I saw that I lost complete power. Pulled over to the side of the road and my oil light came on along with my engine light and it said on the dash “normal mode” and “parking break applied”. Came back to the car and plugged it in to a one scanner which came up with the code p00bc. Checked the air filter which was a bit dirty as it was coming up to the time when it needed a service, cleaned the maf with cleaner along with the connector and it still won’t start

Engine service now, is just Ford's way of saying engine is buggered take car to garage NOW.

It has nothing to do with servicing the car.

Don't know what code reader you used but you need to read the DTC'S with FORScan if you are to get the correct codes.
