I'm somewhat confused about what size wiper blades I should be using on my 68(10/18) plate Titanium hatchback. I've currently got a set of Bosch A098S which are 26"/20" (650/500mm). 

On the Halfords website they say 26/19 for their own brand but 24/20 for Bosch ! If I look up Bosch A098S on their site, it says "not suitable" or similar.

On Amazon I get Bosch 24/20 or Valeo 24/20

On eBay I get even more options (one being 28/28!).

On Shop Ford I get "No results for vehicle" - very helpful.

What are other people using  and does it really matter?

The year on the numberplate is causing confusion in this case because 2018 is the crossover from Mk3 to Mk4.

Mk3 had equal length opposing wipers at 28/28".

Mk4 should be 24/20.  However it seems that the Ford ones aren't exactly measured in inches (perhaps they're metric instead) so the aftermarket ones don't fit quite as well.  Most people will just ignore the slight difference though.

Just fit the biggest (longest) that will work with out hitting things. "does it really matter" No.

If in doubt just measure what's fitted on your car now and fit the same.

I bought Valeo Silencio ones for my car and they are the exact same size as the factory fitted ones, I suspect that they supply the original ones, none of the aftermarket ones are the factory fitted size.

They are also very good.

@leasty, I found the ones  that I bought, they were Valeo VF971 and are 630mm (25 inch) and 500mm (20 inch). I got them direct from Valeo and they came with the correct fitting on them.
