If accurate should these points below affect the car you buy and drive ?

If you buy a used car and never have it serviced at a dealership then you're not funding Fords brand.  

Personally I do find this sort of thing interesting though, and do consider the moral implications of items I purchase or services I use.

Sad reality is that most of the major companies will be involved in things I don't agree with, and often compromise does have to made.

and if serviced at a dealership I wonder how that goes - does a dealer get a bit for the building or just a % of each car sold or does the manu get a bung for each service carried out ?  and then we have genuine spares and accessories  

Fair point but I'm not sure it really counts as advertising on cars, there are too many of them to stand out nowadays.  I certainly don't look at any modern Ford and want to buy another Ford because of it.  I see plenty of them on recovery trucks too, so I guess that counts as a negative advert?
