Replaced battery, now in limp mode with no reverse.

I replaced the battery in my 2015 ford focus titanium, now check engine light is on, car is in limp mode and I will not reverse.  Any suggestions on the cause and how to fix this??

    Are the battery terminals clean and tight?  Did you have to unplug anything else around the battery that might have been left off?

    If nothing obviously wrong then disconnect the battery for 30 minutes.  Then reconnect but don't touch anything at all for another 10 minutes.  That should allow the modules to reboot fully.  Hopefully this is just a software glitch.
