FORD FOCUS REMAP 150hp to 182hp

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for information about which calibration files and strategy I need to convert my Ford Focus 1.6 EcoBoost from 150PS to 182PS.

Below is my current PCM information from forscan:

  • Part Number (Actual): BV61-12A650-BKA

  • Calibration Level: BV61-12A650-FGB

  • Hardware Number: BV61-12B684-AC

  • Loader: AG91-14C273-BA

  • Strategy (CAN, F188): BV61-14C204-FGB

Does anyone know which files I should use or replace to achieve the 182PS setup? Also if someone let me know can i download it from motorcraftservice???? Any help would be appreciated PLSSSSSSSSSSS

Thanks!

Try the FORScan forums

But I think you need genuine UCDS and with the cost of that it'd probably cheaper to just get yours remapped

But, bear in mind 150-180PS change will not give you any torque increase, just top end power over 4,500 RPM

I only want to remove this drop in power at higher RPM which is not unnoticeable in my friend's 182km Focus, I don't care about remapping/tunning ecu, it's just that this drop is quite noticeable, thanks for answer 😄

But if you see my post, you may only be able to do it with genuine UCDS, which is as much money as a remap.

And a remap will increase torque

You will, at least, need a fully paid FORScan license and a decent lead, if FORScan can do it

I know this part, I have both ucds and forscan with license, I just never used these programs for remapping 😕

You can definitely do it with UCDS
