Headliner removal on my Focus CC

Featured Replies

So as usual my Ford Focus is having an issue because of its age (still love that car tho)

Because of the high temperatures right now the glue from my headliner gave up completely and now the whole headliner is sagging. Its not a big deal because i wanted to replace it with a black one anyways (pull off the grey material and glue the black one on the old cardboard headliner).

I watched enough tutorials but i couldnt find a single tutorial on how to remove the headliner on the convertible edition of the Ford Focus. I heard the roof sensors are very sensible and i dont want to damage them.

Can somebody please help me with this topic? Will everything be just fine, when i disconnect the cable and leave the rest on the back of the headliner? Or do the sensors have to be calibrated or something like that?

Sorry if I'm asking stupid questions but I'm new to working on cars and i don't know anybody who could teach me.
