So the wife has washed yet another smax (2012) key and it's stopped working (3rd time now 🙄), unfortunately this was the only one we had left.

I've previously bought new keys from eBay and gone through the reprogramming cycle and it's worked but this time I don't have a key to open the car to do this.

I've subsequently managed to get into the boot so I can now get into the car albeit with the alarm and hazards going off, but but before I order another key will the reprogramming cycle still work with the vehicle being immobilised or do I need to try and find someone with more experience than myself to solve the problem this time?

Thanks for any advice.
