Good evening, I'm hoping someone can help. I bought a Ford Focus Zetec 1.6 2011 a couple of days ago. The fan heater isn't working, so I changed the fuse, checked to see if power getting to van and nothing. I've just changed the controller panel inside, still nothing. Is there something I'm missing. Thanks in advance.

    The device circled below is a thermal fuse. If the resistor has become too hot for some reason this will break the circuit. If you have a multimeter you can test it for continuity. As far as I know this is a non-resettable type.

    The whole thing brand new can be got for less than £10, so not a disastrous repair...

    Good morning, thanks for your reply. I have just replaced with a new one, still not working. Now car won't start.
