Is this a wet belt engine or not? I can’t get an answer, some places say yes and other. If so at which intervals would it need to be changed and can this be inspected for early signs of damage by a mechanic? Thanks.

    Hi,

    If this is the 1.5 diesel it's a standard dry cambelt - to my knowledge none of the Ford diesels use a wet belt.

    If I'm wrong hopefully someone more knowledgeable will correct this sharpish 🙂
