Ford focus MK4 subwoofer speaker

Featured Replies

Hi there has anyone change the speaker in the subwoofer or the amp on a 2019 ford focus MK4 if so what to and how did U do it

There are several amps that are "plug n play" for the basic speaker system, not quite as easy for the B/I system tho.

I got recommended the Phoenix Gold ZDAP 4.8 with the Ford1 wire loom. Was told to go for an amp with DSP so I can adjust the audio after my car, and it also gave me 2 pairs of RCA out as I want to add subwoofer at a later date.

But I know that Excursion, Focal, Phoenix Gold, Axton, and several more make amplifiers with Quadlock adapters.

As for speakers I'm looking at the Focal Inside IS Ford 165 kit for the front doors and for the rear doors I was recommended a pair of Musway coaxials to save some as they did not think it was worth double the price for the Focal IC 165 for rear doors.

Hope it helps🙂
