Focus mk 2.5 2008 Estate - B2090 DTC - troubleshooting?

Featured Replies

Hello.

I would like to ask you to solve the problem with remote key.

A few months ago I lost the master key. So I used the key without the remote control. Now I bought a non-original key, cut the blade and programmed the immobilizer - beautiful, it works. BUT. The remote control does not work for me - I cycle the ignition 4 times, a short, weak beep sounds but nothing else happens. Not even when I press the button on the key.

On FORSCAN I get DTC B2090 + error I think from the navigation receiver - now I'm not 100% sure.

The key has a 4D63 40bit chip, 433Mhz ASK, HU101 blade
New battery.

The original key worked, but it's been a few months - maybe something went wrong in the meantime.

I spent a lot of time searching for a solution here and elsewhere, but no result....

I will provide as much information as possible.

Thank you very much!
