Mileage Staying On - Mk6 1.6 Ghia

Featured Replies

Hi,

I've had my Ghia since Thursday and for some reason the mileage is staying on show when I have turned off/locked up etc...it's on constantly. I think this is something the garage did to display the mileage when it's on show...anyone know how I can turn it off or if it's meant ot be like this?

Thanks

It should stay on for a few minutes after the car is locked but go off shortly afterwards. If you locked it a while ago have a peek through the windows and see if it's still on?

It stays on forever, its supposed to go off after a while, but every time I check its still on

Have a check in the morning and see what its like, mine is usually off by then.

its the time it takes for the canbus system to go to sleep, usually takes aroung half an hour or so

yeh as previously said, it doesnt go off when you leave the car, it takes agges to go off, it does eventually though its normal :D
