Engine management light not working

Featured Replies

Hello

This is my first post.

The engine management light on my ford transit does not work.

I've taken the instrument cluster out and there iwas a piece of black tape over it BUT I've had this van 13 years and it's been through many mots.

The part number on the cluster is

9c1t-10849

I noticed all for sale are 6c1t-10849.

My van is a 2010 mk7

Does anybody know if the one I have could be the wrong one?

Again as far as I know this one has been in from new but obviously someone has been in it before because of the black insulation tape over the led?

Or is there a fuse that prevents this bulb from working? All other lights on the dash work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated 👍
