Focus Mk4 vs Mk4.5

Featured Replies

Hi folks.

I recently acquired a 2024 Mk4.5 1.0 Active X Estate - or "wagon" as its referred to in the online handbook.  I'm really pleased with it.  I had a Mk4 wagon (not Active) with the same engine before. Both with manual transmission.

It drives really well I have to say.  I'm wondering, have Ford tweaked the gears with this latest version?  It seems to have better torque in 5th and 6th.  Anyone else noticed this?

The only thing that's not so good IMO is the speed limit chime (as discussed on the " Sync 4 Speed Limit Warnings" topic).

Would be interested to hear others likes or dislikes of the Mk4.5.
