Ford focus 2015 calliper screws wont screw back in.

Featured Replies

Hi guys so i only had to do the rear brake pads.

So the drivers side rear calliper pins screwed back in easily but no luck on the other side.

What am i doing wrong any advice mush appreciated

Btw i have not done brakes in years so out of practise, bit of a newbie you could say.

Did not like to do it but a few bangs of the hammer helped it to get it right up close into the calliper  to get it winding up tight again.

Thank god that was stressful lol

But now the callipers seem seized, is it possible that there has been a build up  fluid  and just roll the car may sort it ???

The disc brakes on a 2015 Focus have come on quite a bit since the Model 'T' 😉

Did you fully push back the brake piston in to the calliper before you fitted the new pads ?

Only done them on disc brakes tbh but only once but its been a few years and It was a Mazda RX8.

I thought I had them fully wound back twice on one side but had to go at it again but eventually I got it wound back fully
