Focus st tdci glow plug circuit error

Featured Replies

Hi!

Sorry my english, I'm from Finland...

My 2016 Ford focus st tdci won't start. Couple days ago car work fine and I drove it my parking place. Today it won't start.

When I put ignition on, electronic works ok, but service now -message comes. If I start, starter don't do anything. Only clicking sound comes from engine. I check codes, and it says all 4 cylinders "glow plug control circuit high" (p067b, p066f, p066d and p066b).

Where should I start checking? Is there control unit to Glow plugs somewhere? Whit searching and google didn't help me...

Thank you all.

The glow plugs are controlled by the Powertrain Control Module (PCM), there is no separate module for the glow plugs.

Check for loose, damaged, corroded connector to the PCM.

Thanks for tips.

When I checked the wires, I found control unit (9802424080)in front of the pcm-box, under headlight. I change that unit and now car start and no errors! 61LzfBIOWeL._UF8941000_QL80_.thumb.jpg.4ec5083db89ab9f490c308893a2bfa27.jpg
