I have a 2011 mk2 1.6 Focus Zetec Auto 5 door hatch BXZ1821?

VIN: WF0PXXWPDPBK84283.

I'm trying to buy a space saver spare wheel but none of the wheels offered are for a Zetec Auto in the compatibility tables. My tyres are 205/55 R16 91V.

Would any wheel for a 1.6 fit a Zetec?

    There is only 1 type of space saver (16 Inch) for the Focus MK2/MK2.5. This space saver covers all trim levels and engine/transmission types.

    Ford used to install 2 different tyre sizes on the Focus MK2/ MK2.5 space saver. The actual tyre size is again unrelated to trim levels and engine/transmission types. They just installed the size they had in stock (most likely the cheapest) when the car was manufactured.

    You can just buy any Focus MK2/MK2.5 space saver.


    Note that the space saver can only be installed on the rear axle because of the smaller circumference of the space saver in relation to the normal wheels and tyres. Installing the space saver on the front of the car can result in excessive transmission/differential wear.

    Hi Jim

    I'm not aware of any oddity about the auto boot so there should be no issue. There are quite a few on EBay at any one time and I've not seen any stipulation about auto/manual eg:

    The spacesaver (same as the Mk 3 and several other Fords) is very skinny and many owners preferred a full size spare. Several older threads on that, eg:

    NB: you have put " Ford Year" as 2025 in your details, which needs correcting to avoid confusion.
