Mud Flaps - Front And Back

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

As winter approaches I'm looking to get a set of front and back mud flaps for my mk7 Fiesta. The standard mud flaps that i can buy from a dealer.

Could someone tell me if a novice like me will be able to fit them? are the holes for the screws already on the inner wheel arch but are covered by a plastic cover?

Also i know its cheeky, but if anyone has these mud flaps already on their fiesta mk7, could you post a picture of the car so i can see how they look on the car? ive been looking out all week and haven't seen any with the mud flaps :(

Thanks!

A bit hard to see the dark grey mudflaps against the Panther black car, but here you go:

Fitting them is quite easy. The instructions say to remove the wheels, but I didn't bother. The rears are held on with clips on the rim, and an existing dowel fitting is removed (with a screwdriver and pliers) and a new dowel put in its place. The fronts also have the clips, but there's a self-tapping screw that drills its own hole into the plastic wheel arch. I had to turn the steering to make enough room for the screwdriver.

i dont have the oem ford ones but do have some that i got from eBay

I did need to emove my wheels, and needed to self tapper the fronts on however the rears fitted into the original holes

Hope this Helps
