Headlamp Leveller Faulty

Featured Replies

Hi

Car failed MOT due to nearside lamp leveller being faulty. On closer inspection it does make a whiring noise when adjusting.

Take to a garage to get fixed or buy and new headlamp unit?

Cheers

That's the same thing !!

The garage is only going to replace the headlight, they are not a repairable item.

Advantage of owning a 'vintage' car is that you should be able to pick up a replacement for under £40 on Ebay...

I think you might be a bit optimistic Stephen.

£40 for a vintage car sounds very cheap 🤣
