DPF Error Code

Featured Replies

I connected the Vgate Vlinker with Forscan program today. But an error occurred regarding the DPF: code P2459-61 Diesel Particulate Regeneration Frequency. I did a FACM Reset using ForScan, but the error persists. I haven't tried the "DPF Reset Learned Values feature" yet. Do y'all think I should try it? What do y'all recommend?

But everything is running fine - no Check Engine Light whatso ever and topped the Eolys fluid also 3 months ago so. Idk what could cause this maybe its just error stored on PCM.

What vehicle are we talking about ?

Your profile says it is a 2005 Focus, is that correct ?

Until we find the basic information and history of all of these codes it is difficult to comment but I'd normally say NOT to reset DPF parameters without fully understanding what is going on and being certain that there are no faults in the system (what are the DPF pressure readings with engine off, at idle and at 3000 rev/min for starters?)
