2011 1.25 fiesta

Featured Replies

Hi all.

My sons 14 year old Ford fiesta has an issue where when it is cold, just after the first start, under load in 2nd and 3rd gear there is a rattle noise.

Once the engine has warmed, after a few minutes, the noise disappears and doesn't come back until the next cold start.

There are  no driving issues and the engine sounds great.

The noise is not there if the engine is revved while stationary.

Has anyone ever seen this before?

Thanks.

Thanks. I'll check that next time I see him.

Wouldn't it be there all the time though?
