fiesta metal edition exhaust

Featured Replies

so my back box mount has corroded and snapped, the back box isn't looking great so I'm hoping to replace it. problem is I'm having trouble finding the correct part. can anybody help me out with a part number? does an ST back box fit? a lot of the ones I'm finding are pointing to back boxes with a single pipe.

...although I agree that the search function is underused, that specific thread had no answers to that question 🙂

No, I posted the link mainly for that reason!  I've not seen any answers since, either. I think from other threads over recent years the OE system is unavailable.

ST back box has been used on other versions, using an adaptor, so might work here.

Other thought was, I've seen the suggestion that the Mountune exhaust was actually made for them  by Milltek, so might be worth contacting them.

Cobra claim their system would suit:

the search function

In mentioning that, I find the search function on here (similar to several other forums ) not brilliant. I normally just use my usual search engine which brings up posts on here plus other results. Did that this morning without finding much new, but it was interesting that similar questions were being asked here as far back as 2014 (though at that point people were asking if the twin pipe Metal back box would fit other mkdels).

I wondered how many Metals are still on the road - about 1900 according to:

...all the most picky people are from Yorkshire.  I meant to suggest searching in general, not only on a specific forum.

On the first car forum I joined, there was a running joke, that a cute innocent kitten was shot, evertime some posts a subject without using the search button! The gun would be well used in this forum with all the treads about a certain engine component (belt)! There seams to be a thread started every week about it.

Anyway, Hello and welcome to the forum, Matthew.  I hope you find the answer. Does yours have a single or twin tailpipes? If twin then it may fit. You might have to get an adapter if the diameters are different.
