My Focus Mk2 is Broken

Featured Replies

I've had this car for 2.5 months and although it had a couple of of known issues when I bought it, the truth is that things are worse than expected.
Still, all is fixable!

Everything Wrong With My Cheap Focus! #ford

It was obvious that it would be expensive to fix, you just need to look at the registration 😉

Hahahah. It's addictive

Well, I've watched your video and it doesn't seem that bad for the money

That's a really nice car, I have a great affection for these as it's been my daily driver for the last 5 years. The 'faults' you have highlighted really can be sorted for not too much, thereafter you'll have a fine mode of transport. Bodywork looks like remarkably clear of rust, that's a big plus.

Here's a recommendation to get that instrument cluster fixed, he's a member here and highly regarded...

No, not bad at all and when buying a cheap used car, things can happen. Only annoying bit is the cluster which need to be removed and it's usually a week turnaround and i have to borrow a car for that period as my BMW E12 has to be off the road now. Regardless, it's all fixable and not expensive and i'm happy with that

Yes, the fact that it's all fixable and not too expensive is a bonus
