2011 Focus Keyless - Dashboard Stays On

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I’m troubleshooting an issue with my 2011 Ford Focus (1.8L Duratorq-TDCi, manual, keyless push-button start, VIN: WF0PXXWPDPBY11025, 148,002 km). When I turn off the ignition and open a door, the dashboard lights up and stays on, draining the battery overnight. Disconnecting the battery temporarily fixes it, but it’s getting old. I ran a diagnostic with Ediag plus today , and here are the codes:

D_DCU & P_DCU: B166A-60 (Heated Mirror Circuit Open) + U1900-20

Is thete anyone has this problem before

Thanks!

Door mirror glass heater is constantly on

You could try to get to the bottom and resolve this, or just, simply, remove each mirror glass, unplug the heater elements and refit and just live without heated mirrors
