TPMS training

Featured Replies

Mk3 focus push button start.

Had 4 new sensors fitted.

Trying to train them, using the relearn tool.

Tried doing it by letting air out.

Thought sensors asleep took for a ride, still can't get the front left to make a beep..

Any suggestions

Now regarding the TPMS. The batteries in all 4 of your 2015 cars wheels will be at the end of there life, so you may as well replace them all and do the job just once.

You programme them once they have been fitted and the wheels are back on the car.

As I said they have all been replaced. I have relearn tool.

Could be front left us faulty

Can you get the car in to the programme mode?

Do you have the correct relearn tool?

Are the sensors the correct ones?

I can get car to correct program mode, ie front left.

Relearn too, I have double checked, it's correct.

As for sensors, the garage ordered and fitted

I'm guessing there must be a device that can can just read that a sensor is working or not.

Just had brainwave, when the car says go to front left, it doesn't actually know that's where I am so I went front left, got an acknowledgement beep. That is the only wheel that beeps, I don't think the sensors have been switched on are faulty.
