Fiesta Mk7 Metal Full Leather Seats

Featured Replies

Hi, just wondering if the Mk7 Fiesta Full Leather "Metal" seats are a straight swap for any mk7 Fiesta? Not sure if the heated seats option is for the mk7.5 onwards or not.

Looking to swap out the fabric fronts in my Zetec S as my 2011 drivers seat frame seems to make alot of noise, apparently a common problem with a batch from that year in specific..

Straight swap, yes.

Wiring for seat heaters will be a bit complex, but the seats drop straight in

Thanks 👍

So no initial changing of wires required to avoid ABS faults like when changing to the later ST seats? Haven't got room to store my existing seats so would be looking to just leave them with the breakers and put the new ones straight in.

I'd be very surprised if there was.

Apart from the heating wiring, if they're from the same generation, same time period, they should be just plug & play

Well I've picked up and put the seats im, will give them a good clean tomorrow as they're stinking. Both heated seat switches are broken, but I bought a cheap little clip from ebay that fixes the problem. So got another on order to fix the other one. I notice there's no extra wires in the plugs compared to the car wiring. Could these just need enabling with ForScan to work? Providing i have the required fuses/relay of course. 20250909_143228.thumb.jpg.643198d4d5aea3be55987ef787d5bf60.jpg

Just noticed from this screenshot I took earlier this year before enabling the rear speakers after installation.20250612_194952.thumb.jpg.d92930cffbb36170beec9bf03fc2c134.jpg

The heated seats option is at not configured. I've got some power fold mirrors being delivered in the next two days, so will enable them and the heated seats at the same time and update how it goes 🤞

Also got the Sony stereo being delivered, to go with the Sony facia and screen previously fitted, that will need enabling. That will hopefully sort out the weak rear speaker output, but thats for another thread lol.

On a plus side note, while traveling to get the new seats I had the passenger and rear seats removed. What I initially thought was a front passenger wheel bearing on its way out, is in fact a rear passenger wheel bearing moaning. So clear without the seats in the way 🤣

You'll need the wiring diagrams, but yes, it should work.

Powerfold Mirrors may require the door modules being either updated or replaced for high spec

A little update, I have enabled the heated front seats in ForScan and they work perfectly 👌 20250916_102857.thumb.jpg.64d19248e9b131fc64a4649bbf7b9c13.jpg

Also gave them a clean and leather treatment and they've come up lovely.

Also fitted and enabled power fold mirrors which also work perfectly 👌

Did you have to do any wiring? Mirrors and seats?

Great job BTW👍

Cheers 👍 No wiring required luckily. For the power fold mirrors you just need the high spec fuse box, with the relays in "blue" present, and also check there are 8 wires in the in the connector for the mirrors in the door. Non power fold have either 6 or 7 wires instead.20250910_123907.thumb.jpg.518608b697def0ed86cef85d5b77143e.jpg

I did buy the power fold mirror switch off Ebay for the drivers door so I can activate the power fold while in the car, otherwise they will just auto fold when you lock the car.

The heated seats you just need the 7.5amp fuse present from the above photo circled in "yellow". Mine has a piggyback fuse holder in for dashcam so you can't see it clearly. Also make sure the seat connectors are like below, this is for the passenger side. The drivers side has different colour wiring.
