AUTO GEARBOX CHANGING DELAY

Further to my previous post, we’ve ascertained that the gearbox is in fact a 4F27E.  We’ve pinpointed it down to possibly the Transmission Control Module (TCM) or the Powertrain Control Module (PCM). Can anyone please tell me their location.

    The TCM may be combined into the PCM, they are on some cars

    If it's got delay, change the fluid, twice at least, then check the solenoids aren't caked up.

    Do you know when the fluid was last changed?

    Delay is only on 3rd to 4th.  Several scans have stated: the "transmission control module has momentarily not seen the calculated torque signal from the Powertrain Control Module"  I am lead to believe the ATF is very recent.

    As said, if in doubt (how far can you trust the person who led you to believe?) change fluid and filter if appropriate.
    Twice if necessary - it's cheap compared to taking it apart?
    Is it the type of transmission you can use a flushing oil on, such as:
