Forescan update problems

Featured Replies

Hi people,

Focus cc3 2.0 tdci 2008, ran forescan with basic edition and connected fine cleared dtc's , needed to go bit deeper in diagnosis so applied for free extended licence which I received vey quickly. So tried again, this time at first did not recognise my ELM saying it was not the one registered ?. then after another attempt it recognised it but said could not connect to vehicle so asked again for extended licence and received it and updated app but same problem. anybody else have this problem.

Regards

ELM327 leads are not fully supported on the latest versions of FORScan.

You need to use the vLinker FS cable.

Thank you for quick reply, Hope you are mistaken as only ran out of extended licence last month so must have been quick to change app, thing is it is still the release I had used before so looks like it has bricked it with the extension rather than original download, once again thank you.
