I have a 2020 st line focus and I can connect my iPhone to it but if I want full connection it only works if I hard wire it by usb cable.

is there something I’m missing guys  as my fiesta st never had this problem

If you go into the menu and find the setting for ‘Master Reset’ you’ll find I might then allow you to pair your phone as normal.

Is this full connection for car play? If so then focuses and fords in general only got native wireless carplay and android auto in sync 4

Hi neb  thanks for the information i can setup for calls etc but I have to hard wire to show full connection so as you said it’s not possible without hard wire. It’s a iPhone I’m using and it’s about a yr old and fully updated

For CarPlay that's how it is supposed to work on Sync 3.

As I said above, sync 4 and beyond has native wireless connection. Sync 3 only has native wired connection for it, you can buy adapters for a little bit of money online that give you wireless carplay/ android auto
