LED indicator and brake light bulbs

Featured Replies

Has anybody tried the Philips Ultinon Pro3100 LED’s for indicators (both front and rear) and for brake lights? I’ve read that not many people have had much luck in regards to dash errors and hyper flashing with other LED bulbs but looking at the handbook for my MK4 Focus, the wattage in the handbook says 21w for both indicators and brake lights and this is the same as what the LED’s seem to advertise so just wondering if anybody has tried these and can tell me or show me the results. Thanks

Can I ask the question as to why you want to replace traditional bulbs with LED ?

Kinda ruins the aesthetic a little bit with rear tail lights and the indicator and brake lights are standard halogen bulbs

I never recommend LED upgrades for indicators or combined stop/tail lamp bulbs, they just cause too much hassle and never tend to look good anyway.

If you want the indicators bulbs to look a bit better fit some silvatec ones
