Annoying vibration noise from AC/heater fan area - Focus Mk4

Hi everyone,

 

I have a Ford Focus Mk4 2018 1.5 diesel and I'm dealing with an annoying issue. When I accelerate from a stop at low RPM, there's a vibration that makes a plastic part rattle in the area of the container where the AC/heater fan is located.

 

I tried pushing a piece of firm foam behind that container (from underneath the car, left side near the trunk), and it reduced the noise a little, but the rattle is still there and it's frustrating to drive with.

 

Has anyone here experienced the same problem? Do you know the right way to access that container, or maybe have a video/ instructions on how to fix it properly?

    I have exactly the same problem and it's really annoying. My local main dealer has told me it is the matrix vibrating and want about £1000 plus parts to fix. I'm told it is a seats out, console strip and dashboard strip to get to ut. If anyone knows a quick fix I'd love to hear it.
