2018 Ford Fiesta TPMS sensors

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I’m looking to replace the TPMS sensors but having trouble sourcing the correct ones. Could anyone please share the part number or a reliable source?

I already have a TPMS19 reset tool — am I right in thinking I just need to buy the sensors, have a local tyre shop fit them, and then do the relearn myself?

Thanks in advance!

Hate to think how much the Ford dealer charged you for the sensor 🙁

Part EV6T-1A180-DE which you just bought is the same part as EV6T-1A180-DB that your local garage is saying you should have. The last letter 'E' is just a newer revision of part 'B'

To make TPMS sensors easy to identify Ford put a big white:- Square, Circle, Triangle, or Cross on the back of the part. So long as you replace like for like, you should be fine.

A couple of examples below:

Now regarding the TPMS. The batteries in all 4 of your 2015 cars wheels will be at the end of there life, so you may as well replace them all and do the job just once.

You programme them once they have been fitted and the wheels are back on the car.

I would think that the 2018 Fiesta uses the 'Square' marked sensors.

Lots available from eBay for around £7 each.

Thank you so much! Is there any way to verify that the sensors are compatible with my car? Is it possible to try to “relearn” them before installation? but I’ve heard that some sensors only become active under certain pressure levels.

Sensor will not be active until fitted.

Just check the marking on the one removed, if it has a square then you are good to go !!

Hi Adam, I was in the same position with a 2014 Fiesta, I wasn't sure on getting the right ones from Ebay  (I didn't have the excellent info that unofix has given above) and didn't want to get them fitted and then find out they wouldn't program.  I went with these  https://tpuk.net/4-tyre-pressure-sensors-air-o-e-for-ford-mondeo-ranger-transit-connect-courier.html   not the cheapest but I felt the compatibility info on the site was decent.

I also bought a cheap reset tool from Ebay, which i used to work out which (2) sensors had failed, but I just decided to replace all 4 as i assumed the others wouldn't be far behind.  My local garage fitted them for me and they just reprogrammed them at that point, but I'm sure my cheap reset tool would have worked just as well.

Hi Unofix, thanks again for the info. I will give it a go.

Hi Bill,

Thanks for sharing your experience. Unfortunately, I just realized the sensors are nearing the end of their lifespan shortly after getting my tires replaced. I think it might be more cost-effective to replace them together with the tires in one go?
