Possible stupid mistake with brake caliper buy

Featured Replies

On a whim, I bought 2 red painted front calipers on ebay. They were pretty cheap. Now I'm worried they won't fit. I've got really confused looking which discs/calipers I have, or should have.

I have a 2019 Vignale estate auto and the car they came from is a 2024 1.0 MHEV auto ST x.

Anyone know if they will be the same as mine? or is it just a case of comparing them with mine when they arrive?

Thanks

Even on pre-facelift there were 4 options for each side.

I can't access facelift part numbers so not sure what calipers an MHEV has.

Ok, thanks for that.

Fingers crossed, they fit.

I'm assuming level 1 rear suspension is fixed beam rear axle, and level 2 is multilink, which I have being it is an estate?

Correct.  2024 ST Line X would have fixed beam, unless that was also an estate.  Though I must admit I'm not sure why the rear suspension would affect the front calipers.  I would expect a difference in front caliper by engine power.  So roughly up to 150bhp smaller discs than engines with more than 150bhp.  That is how they were on Mk2 & Mk3 Focus.
