Hi all,

Looking for some help regarding intermittent Indicator issue.

When indicating right the indicator flashes fast and does not show on the rear light. However sometimes it does work. I've taken my car to a garage where they have checked bulb holders / bulbs and said everything looks okay and have also plugged in and advised no fault codes. Is there anything else that can be recommended to look at? Fuses or anything else?

Thank you

You need an auto electrician, not a garage mechanic.

Use Google and search for one near you.

I've often found poor earthing to be the culprit with this sort of thing, or as it's intermittent it could be a poor/loose connection. As above, an auto electrical specialist might be best placed to locate the fault.

The ground tab in the lamp holder is not protruding far enough out and is not making contact with the side of the bulb.

It just needs eased out a few millimeters with a small screwdriver.
