Hey everyone, i noticed today that my 2015 1.0 ecoboost fiesta his started making a strange whistling noise when i accelerate. The rate of the whistling increases with acceleration and goes away when standing still.

It sounds to my untrained ear like some sort of turbo issue.

There may be a bit a power loss too, the car feels less powerful but maybe that is just me joining dots that dont join.

Any suggestions of issues would be awesome.

    I suggest looking for an air leak in the pipework after the turbo either at a clamp or in the rubber or even metal pipes or intercooler if it has one?
    A smoke test is the "professional" way to look for this issue.
