1.5tdci Clutch kit + DMF Replacement Time

Featured Replies

hi fellas,

So next week I'm hoping to get around to changing the clutch in the focus. Last one I did was on my old mk2.5 1.6 which was a breeze to do but this time I'm not so sure but time will tell lol!

just gathering up the last of what I need and trying to plan ahead before starting the work next week.

I think the transmission in the 2016 ford focus 1.5 Duratorq is the B6 from looking at the Haynes manual.

Is the Ford WSS-M2C200-D2 still the correct type to use?

Also Haynes states for the B6 Transmission a capacity of 1.67 Litres.

Below it it states the B6 transmission removal quality id 0.50 Litres?? Im not sure what this means. Can any one advise ?

Thanks

Ok so further reading it just basically means filling the gearbox back up untill its level with the input hole and then removing 0.5 litres back out from the box and that should give the correct amount.

With regards to the Ford WSS-M2C200-D2 is there anywhere I can check this?

I was looking at fords own oil or Castrol but Halfords is just bringing up comma oil at 75w fully synthetic.

Carlube does this gearbox oil, when I did it in my old focus (twice due to driveshafts) I bought a 5 litre container off Amazon
