Window Bounce Back

Featured Replies

Hi all,

been a while. I have a 2018 Focus Ecoboost ST line. And have about 3 windows that "bounce back" when they reach the top of the door frame so i have to annoyingly time it just right to shut properly. Recently had the car in for a battery change and it's still happening. Just wondering if anyone has some sure fire tips on resolving/fixing as nothing seems to work.

Cheers 👍

Thanks, the issue was there prior to the new battery. I'll give the reset a go. Hopefully that works 👍🏻

Hi, many thanks for this. On step 1 "close the window" would you suggest closing by tapping until it reaches the top seal then continue with remaining steps as I have to keep my finger on the switch till it reaches the desired point?

Thanks

Yes. If the window is not already fully closed you will need to coax it up a little at a time until it is full sealed.
