Left rear boot wire

I noticed my 2014 Fiesta had a wire hanging from the rear bumper on the left hand side, and it seems to be cut. Does anyone know what this cable might be for? It is marked with a sticker lable OC PASS and A20131087809.

It is coming down from the left side of the boot, see photo (cable in question is the left one)

    Are you sure that's a cable?  Looks like a drain hose in that picture.

    QC PASSED just means 'quality control passed'.  (Apparently Ford do still have a QC department. 😮)

    Can you show us a clear picture of the other end of that part?

    Agreed. Looks like a drain hose, something like the type used from the sunroof.
