So as some of you might know I began a clutch job on the focus today and so far going well , had a late start so just ran out of daylight but will get back to it tomorrow.

I need it replace the engine under shield as the old one is ready for the bin. Does anyone have a part number for this? 

Also I noticed it was like a hard cloth fabric shield where my old mk2.5 was a hard plastic? I'm not sure if this original or has this maybe been replaced with a cheaper type one at some point.

Hard plastic is heavy.  The cloth saved a couple of CO2's for the tax band.

So I presume the MK3 focus came with the cloth type. Do you know if there are any hard plastic replacements available? The cloth type seems only to be as hard wearing at all.

The cloth one on my Mk3 was fine, didn't show any signs of wear at all.  But the cars are getting on a bit now.  As long as the hard plastic one fits then I can't see any problem with using that instead.
