2017 ecoboost no heat from heater

Featured Replies

Hi all,

My 2017 1 litre ecoboost has stopped blowing hot air. Everything looks fine on climate controls, it blows and redirects air, but regardless of what you do with temp knobs, only cold air comes out.

I checked header tank and it's on max, gave all hoses a good squeeze in engine bay. Also popped plastic panel off next to pedals to expose the metal pipes to/from matrix and both are hot.

Not sure with panel off and head next to matrix if you should hear some sort of motor sound when turning temperature knobs? The temp on digi display goes up and down fine, everything 'looks' fine, just no heat at all, only cold air.

Have looked at fuse diagrams and don't think there is specific fuse for motor for heat, just a climate control one. Maybe motor has died which operates presumably a lever to control air flow.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Cheers,

Colin.
