Hi all,

im off to look at the above this weekend and I don’t know to much about the 1.5tdci engine is there any thing to look out for with this engine or any common issues with this car?

    and yes that’s one of the questions I’m looking for answers from it looks like the 1.5tdci is a EcoBlue engine, but even the user manual makes no reference to the use of adblue and  I’m not sure if this engine uses a wet belt of any kind.

    i have tried my best to avoid them both lol

    No, the 1.5tdci only became the ecoblue in MK4 and onwards. That 1.5 is still the single cam duratorq.

    Adblue only came to the 1.5 diesel in the 2022 refresh. The 1.5 diesel has never used a wetbelt.

    Not sure if that's a typo.  Mk4 1.5 EcoBlue got Adblue from Autumn 2020.
