Disable stop start automatically when the car starts

Featured Replies

Any idea how to the the car to start with stop start disabled rather than needing to press the button when the car is started

My car just automatically presses the button, figuratively speaking all by itself each time I start the car. The Stop/Start system is always turned off 👍

Hi Mike, most queries involving stop/start on here concern reasons why it never works.

It'd be interesting to know exactly what version of Fiesta this is, and how long you've owned it.

If a recent purchase, it's possible that the seller recently fitted a new battery or fully charged the existing one, in which case it will.probably stop working fairly soon.

If not, it's hardly a big deal to press the button as part of the start up routine, but there's no alternative afaik.
