Hey all lovely Ford owners! Just joined the forum here, hoping to re-visit regularly.

Recently bought my lovely 2015 Ford Focus facelift 1.6 diesel from a used dealer, mostly ok apart from a few issues,  which I won't bore you with apart from quick mention of one of them (clutch squeal when driving off in 1st).

What I'm really after is knowing which part is missing based on the pictures below .... I assume there should be some kind of cover at top part of the footwell, as I don't think I should be able to feel the steering column on my foot occasionally when  turning the wheel!
've searched for all variations of "footwell cover" and can't find/be sure about which part this is.

Ideally would like to find a used part online somewhere.

    As unofix said, that is how they are, but you are very lucky with your steering column rubber boot, it looks intact. They like to split on your generation.
