2003 mk6 no lights

Featured Replies

One for the hive mind.....

Having resurrected my old tdci after far too long, it passed its mot on Saturday.

Went out in it today and at one point the immobiliser light came on and it died.  Key out/in & it restarted fine.  No further issues. Return journey no issue.

Went to go out in it later (dusk) and I have no dip or main.  Sidelights and indicators are fine. 'Flash' on stalk doesn't work either. No rear wiper (don't know if that was working before).

Glovebox fuses are good (didn't check wiper).

Any suggestions, anyone?  Just to give me an idea before I start poking around when it's daylight.

Thanks

Think so? Seems odd it's only after I've been using it.  Any way.of bypassing the bcm for the lights?

Don't really get the relevance of the link.

I'll pull it tomorrow and inspect for damage

That would because you've not had time to watch the full video which explains the issue of trying to bypass the BCM for a light.

Check out the Haynes Manual for the lighting circuits and relays.
