Garage advised me to keep an eye on my battery as it failed a test during service, and with colder weather coming my thoughts are to replacing it. What is the best battery for this model please?

    Strangely the Yuasa site recommends a different one priced nearly the same as the Ford recommended one?

    That is the battery used by the Ford Focus 2.0 diesel automatic. It's an excellent battery but I doubt it would physically fit in the battery tray of your car. However, if it will fit then yes I'd recommend the YBX7096, just buy it from Tayna batteries and save yourself a lot of money.
