2007 Focus not turning over

Featured Replies

Hi guys I've bought a 2007 auto for my missuses first car it worked great just needed a few mechanical bits doing. I have added another key everything was good, came to start it and it won't turn over the immobiliser light flashes rapidly I've tried the battery off for a few hrs to reset the immobiliser that's not worked. Read error codes with forscan an it says theft detected immobiliser on I've tried to delete it to no avail anyone have any ideas?

Did the new key ever work or did this start straight after adding it?

The immobiliser can't be reset by disconnecting the battery.  That would not be secure.

What equipment and software did you use to add the new key ?

How many keys do you have in total including the new key ?

Please post any further questions in the FOCUS forum and not in the GUIDES forum.

Yeah, you've wiped all the keys, not added one
