trying to work out if this is a senser problem or something elese  can any one help out

    Hi,

    That probably is just a worn out lambda sensor.  But I wouldn't rule out a wiring fault at this stage.

    Also worth checking for a vacuum leak around the engine.  Particularly the PCV hose splitting under the plastic manifold.

    ok thank you will look at wiring and see if there is a vacuum leak two then order a  lambda sensor and try that
