Focus MK4 questions and fault code p130d

Featured Replies

Hello, i am now an owner of a Ford, although being a quite nice car it has got me quite some headaches lately, the car had problems stuttering and jerking under heavy acceleration, and sometimes straight up dying on idle and not turning on for quite some time, this has been fixed by replacing the high pressure pump and injectors togheter with the rail. The car run fine for a total of 2000km and now a wrench symbol appears under heavier acceleration (around 50% throttle) and a fault code of p130d has appeared, it goes away after turning the car off and on but reappears on heavy acceleration. Has anyone had similar problems or knows what might cause it? I ordered new sparkplugs as they might need changing as the car is at 110k km (no idea if they ever had been replaced). Also wanted to ask if these cars have any fix for the wastegate rattle as its starting to drive me mad, and if that can cause it. Also there is a weird sound on idle like cyclic really mild whining?(hard to describe the sound it pitches up and down and is only hearable on idle)

Thanks in advance
