Hi Guys. Please can I pick your brains. Got rust in the drivers side front wing/wheel arch. It only goes up about 6 inches. None else were. Second hand wings don’t look much better than what I have. Do I get a whole new wing or get a repair section? Thanks

    Replacing a complete wing is much easier than having to weld and paint a small patch.

    If that new wing is in the correct colour then that's the way I'd go.

    Also not convinced that repair panel is correct.  It doesn't look the same and even says inner wing in the title, though the rest of the ad is not clear.

    Looks like black primer from the suppliers site, unfortunately.

    I agree, though - still easier to paint a whole wing than blend in a repair panel.

    Incidentally, stumbled across this old thread on Focus Mk 1 wing removal while looking for the wing suppliers site.

    Now, if I'd have gone looking for it I bet I'd have had no chance, given the vagaries of the search facility on here!😀
